Commercial 95 Standard Sized Mesh Rectangle Shade Sails allow you to cover larger and wider areas with a Square Shade Sail. They can also be combined with square and triangular shade sails to create unique designs. These are great for protecting cars, boats and RV’s from the damaging UV’s from the sun.
Commercial 95 fabric by Synthesis is breathable and helps to keep you cool and comfortable even in hot weather. The very durable fabric is made from 100% HDPE monofilament and tape yarns that have a unique knitted lock-stitch construction that is tear and fray resistant. It is also heat set to provide long lasting performance even in extreme conditions. When installed properly, shade sails do not sag or flap in the wind.
Commercial 95 fabric is not waterproof and rain will not puddle on the sails. Thus they do not have to be hung with a slope like the solid Sunbrella shade sails do. When calculating the size of the shade sail that you would need for a certain area, be sure to allow for about 12 to 18 inches of space between the shade sail’s d-rings and the mounting points for the necessary mounting hardware including turnbuckles.
It is better for the shade sail to be too small than too large. If it is too large, you will not be able to tighten when necessary, but if they are too small, you can still attach the sail to the mounting points with the help of a few lengths of chain or a piece of aircraft cable.
Note: 1) Due to the available Commercial 95 fabric widths, and depending on the size ordered, your shade sail may have seams. 2) Due to manufacturing tolerances and fabric stretch, finished shade sail dimensions may vary 1.5″ +/-.
