MightyCovers.com offers Custom Sandbox Covers made from the most advanced and improved 18 oz. solid reinforced poured rubber vinyl. Our covers are designed to fit your swing set or fort sandbox — we can make your sandbox cover to nearly any size that you may need.
You can choose to have your cover made with post cut-outs and notches to provide your cover with a supremely snug and secure fit. Poured rubber vinyl covers come only in the colors Blue or Green.
Please note that even though the 18oz poured rubber fabric is waterproof, when there are seams and water is allowed to puddle or stand on the seams, they could leak. To prevent this, the covers may need a ball or bucket under the cover to tent up the cover and allow the water to drain off of the cover. If your cover is a long rectangle you may want to consider placing the ball on both ends so the water has nowhere to puddle.
****NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT USE OBJECTS WITH SHARP POINTS OR JAGGED EDGES THAT COULD PUNCTURE OR TEAR HOLES IN THE COVER. THIS WILL NOT BE COVERED UNDER THE MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY.
How will you choose to fasten your cover to the sandbox? You can select stainless steel snaps or grommets that are sewn into the covers for easy removal and replacement (see photos). Or, you can choose no fasteners at all.

Sandbox Cover Example – Suppose you have a 60″ x 72″ sandbox (measured outside edge to outside edge) with 4x 4 posts in each corner, and you want the cover to drop down the outside of the sandbox wall 3 by inches. The finished cover will be 66″ x 78″ with 8-1/2″ square cutouts on each corner. The 8-1/2″ cutout is enough to accommodate the 3″ drop, 1-1/2″ for the sandbox wall which is usually made of a 2 x 4 piece of wood (we will need to know the width of the frame boards) and 4″ for the post. We know that a 4″ x 4″ post is actually 3.5″ x 3.5″, but the extra 1/2″ gives you a little wiggle room.
